My Experience With Online Shopping

Everyday, there's something I would like to have. Either it can be possible to have or not. In some cases, things that I would like to be on my ownership are hard to find in the stores where we commonly go to. Things that can only be seen and available online.

My first time to shop online was on March 2011. I got intrigued on the Amazon Kindle 3 Wifi, and got hyped up about buying it. I discovered it in Amazon.com, and it is their bestseller. At first, the problem was on how I would pay for the item if it was located in U.S. The solution came after a lot of searches. I found out that there were some sellers here in the Philippines who sell Kindle and they posted it on Ebay.ph. I contacted the seller who was from Mindanao. Our communication lasted for two weeks( I think). Despite of my doubts about buying an item that cost P7750.00 in ebay,I was still determined and got my dad convinced that it was not a scam. Eventually, the seller and I had an agreement and settled about the payment and delivery. I got the item just after two days.

So,if you are planning to buy an item online, here;s how:

1. Here are the websites where you can shop online:

Ebay.ph- higly recommended. You are protected in here, and you will have a record of your purchase history.
Sulit.com.ph- You will find cheaper items here. There are no transactions to be recorded, only feedbacks
   Ayosdito.ph

2. I don't recommend you to buy gadgets or clothes unless they are brand new ones and the seller is already a power seller (ebay). Neither you would like to waste your money for finding the item you received is broken, nor would give you a body odor.

3. If you already found an item that you would like to buy, be sure to contact and know the seller first and inquire him about the item if its details are not clearly stated in his advertisement. Better to be makulit than to be scammed!

4. Be sure to know the condition of the item that you are buying.

5. Of course, you will talk about the mode of payment and the delivery. Bank deposits are safe and Globe G-cash is convenient. (want to know on how to pay and receive money through g-cash? Just post a comment!^_^). If the seller's choice of courier is not available in your location, you can always tell him to use other courier that is more accessible for you. You can choose whether the item will be delivered in your address or, pick it up in your chosen courier's nearest branch in your place.

6. When you are about to pay for the item, send the seller a message. After receiving your money, he will immediately ship the item and send you the tracking number. Check the status of your item in the website of the courier.

7. When you already received the item, inform him and give your thanks.

I've been shopping online mostly for books and so far every transaction was successful. The sellers were very friendly and easy to deal with. As a buyer, be polite and wise. ^_^
